School Guide for Internship and Research

Graduation Research

  • Students can select graduation research topic according to 3-4 years academic studying.
  • Students who have chosen the graduation research topic will submit the relevant research proposal of the corresponding subject in the beginning of the semester to the department.
  • Graduation project research is the responsibility of the instructor to perform, the end of each semester must have a corresponding presentation (publication, report, display, etc.)

On-site Internship

  • Students in the school can take 2 credits (120 hours) of on-site internship education. (one credit is 60 hours).
  • In principle, on-site internships are offered in the summer or winter semester of the 3-year school year.
  • On-site internship, the corresponding system of time required to conduct elective courses and log in, so that through the field practice to get the appropriate credits.
  • Practice credits are included in the graduation credits.

Internship Scope

  • Students in grade 3 or 4 who have completed the 2-year academic course and have obtained 77 credits for 3 or 4 years can be recommended candidates for the internship program after they have obtained the recognition of the subject (department) instructor.

Internship Students’ obligations

  • Students applying for the internship must submit the application materials to the subject within the stipulated time.
  • Students who complete the internship program must submit the final report of the internship and the evaluation document of the internship to the subject within the specified time.
  • Students need to comply with the internal regulations of the internship.
  • It is not possible to disclose the confidentiality of the internship institution.
  • Please contact with the school in time in case of accident in internship.

Internship credits certification

  • Depending on the duration of the internship, the internship program may take the place of the required course of the corresponding semester, with a maximum of 18 credits for the spring or autumn semester and a maximum of 6 credits for the summer or winter semester.

Internship Evaluation

  • Internship scores are assessed by the department leaders, subject advisor and evaluation committee.
