The Global Interdisciplinary Studies (GIS) curriculum provides a robust foundational education, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to equip students with the versatile skills required for success in rapidly evolving professional environments.

During their formative undergraduate years, students focus on essential competencies while exploring various academic disciplines. This broad exposure is designed to facilitate a smooth transition into their eventual major programs of study. Core curriculum focuses include:

  • Discourse & Communication
  • Interdisciplinary Exploration
Specialized Tracks

While the first three semesters offer a wide range of diverse coursework, the fourth semester allows students to narrow their focus into one of three specialized concentrations:

  • Business & Social Sciences: For students interested in global markets, economics, and human behavior.
  • Software & IT: Focused on digital literacy, computational thinking, and emerging technologies.
  • Liberal Arts & Sciences: A flexible track for students who wish to continue a customized interdisciplinary path before entering their majors
