Alumni Association Membership Bylaws (To be revised)

Article 1 (Name) The association of Woosong University for international student alumni shall be called the 'Woosong University International Student Alumni Association' (hereinafter referred to as the 'Global Alumni Association').

Article 2 (Purpose) The purpose of the Global Alumni Association is to promote mutual development through friendship and relationship among Woosong University alumni, contribute to the development of Woosong University (hereinafter referred to as 'the alma mater'), and serve the international community.

Article 3 (Operation of the International Student Alumni Support Center) The Global Alumni Association Support Center shall be located and operated at the Office of International Affairs of Woosong University.

Article 4 (Establishment and Amendment of Bylaws, etc.)
(1) The bylaws of the Woosong University International Student Alumni Association (hereinafter referred to as the 'bylaws') are established or amended for the purpose of organizing and smoothly operating the Global Alumni Association.
(2) Amendments to the bylaws shall be decided by the standing committee.

Article 5 (Branch Composition)
(1) Branches are divided into regional branches and national branches.
(2) Regional branches may be formed when each region has at least 10 members.
(3) A national branch may be formed when each country has at least 10 members.

Article 6 (Classification of Members) Members of this association shall be regular members and associate members.

Alumni Networking

For networking purposes among prospective and graduate international students, the program surveys prospective members of the Woosong University Global Alumni Association and gathers information on graduates and prospective graduates to create a database system.

The DB consists of Country, Year of Graduation, College of Study, Major Department, Present Profession, Job Position, Charge, Email Address, MP Number, Contact Address, and Areas of Interest. For the purpose of better communication with alumni at the International Student Alumni Support Center, the interests of alumni are divided into Student Events, Mentors/Lectors for Students, Receiving Alumni Newsletters & Updates, Networking with Other Alumni, Participating in School's Events, and Others (Free Description).

To build a database of alumni associations for alumni and prospective graduates, Pilot DB will be conducted by selecting countries with large international students in Southwest Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia for those expected to graduate in August 2026. Once initial pilot work stabilizes, the graduate database will be expanded step by step by college and country.

WSU Global Alumni Hub

The Alumni Directory enables alumni to network, find career opportunities, reconnect with former classmates, and stay informed about alumni events and university updates. Access to the directory is restricted to verified members who log into the website, ensuring privacy and exclusivity.

    association → Total of 5 Alumni associations (Vocational 2, Regional 2, etc.)

    • 143 members registered in China and abroad, 99 confirmed their workplace/position
    • Starting in 2024, the regular general meeting of the alumni association of education will be held in January every year
    • After 2025, special lectures and exchange activities are conducted for current Chinese students through visits to WSU

  • 9th Members (2026): 32 students are scheduled to enter school in September, 2026
