Woosong University is very proud to announce that on November 1st, 2025, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kim Sung Kyung, Honorary Chairman of the Woosong Educational Foundation, was awarded the Order of “Dostyk” II degree for his contributions to the development of Kazakhstan’s higher education sector. The award was presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.

This year was special as it marked the opening of Woosong University Kazakhstan in Turkistan. During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan expressed his gratitude to Kim Sung Kyung for establishing a branch of Woosong University in Turkistan, which meets advanced global standards in education.

This achievement reflects the strengthening of strategic collaboration between the two countries. We are proud and honored to be part of this milestone and look forward to the continued success and greater achievements of Woosong University Kazakhstan and Woosong University.
