Behind every TV show, there’s a story the cameras don’t tell, and 42 students from Global Media and Communications Arts got a firsthand look on Oct 22, 2025. Their exploration began at MBC Broadcasting Facilities in Sangam-dong, Seoul, one of Korea’s leading public broadcasters, where they toured recording studios, control rooms, and the news center, observing how ideas move from concept to polished television programs.
Reflecting on the trip, students described the experience as both inspiring and educational. Many said it strengthened their passion for media and visual arts while motivating them to apply what they observed to their own creative projects.
The Global Media and Communications Arts department plans to continue organizing field trips and industry visits, to provide students with hands-on exposure to Korea’s creative industries and helping them develop practical skills for their future careers.
