This Fall 2026, students from across Woosong University’s diverse academic programs and international community will begin an exciting new chapter in their educational journeys by participating in study abroad programs at partner universities around the world.

With a network of more than 300 partner institutions across Europe, America, Asia, and beyond, Woosong University provides students with exceptional opportunities to expand their academic horizons, immerse themselves in new cultures, build international networks, and develop valuable global competencies that enhance both their personal and professional growth.

Short-Term Programs Open New Global Experiences

This summer, a number of Woosong students will participate in fully funded and scholarship-supported short-term international programs designed to provide meaningful cultural and academic experiences abroad.

Approximately 15 students will travel to Beijing and Zhuhai, China, where they will spend 20 days participating in an intensive program supported by a scholarship from Beijing Institute of Technology that covers tuition, transportation, accommodation, and other program-related expenses.

In addition, two students have been awarded full scholarships to attend a five-day academic program at Macau University of Science and Technology in Macau, offering them a unique opportunity to engage with international peers while exploring one of Asia’s most dynamic educational environments.

Another two students were selected as scholarship recipients for the summer program hosted by Hungkuang University in Taiwan. The scholarship covers most program costs, allowing participants to focus on gaining valuable academic and cultural experiences.

These short-term opportunities continue to be an attractive option for students seeking international exposure during summer and winter breaks. Beyond academic learning, participants have the chance to experience local cultures firsthand, explore historical and tourist destinations, and develop a broader global perspective.

“Participating in this short-term program in Taiwan is a valuable opportunity for me to broaden my academic knowledge, experience a different culture, and grow both personally and professionally. I am excited to learn from distinguished professors, interact with students from different countries, and gain new perspectives through this international experience. I also look forward to exploring Taiwanese culture, enhancing my cross-cultural communication skills, and creating meaningful and lasting memories. I believe this program will inspire me to become more confident, open-minded, and better prepared to achieve my future academic and career goals.” - Enan - Global Hospitality - Hungkuang University (Taiwan)

The following are reflections from several Woosong students preparing to begin their study abroad journeys this Fall 2026:

“Studying abroad in Japan is a dream come true for me. It is a valuable opportunity to improve my Japanese language skills, experience a new culture, and grow as a person. I am excited to challenge myself, meet new people, and create unforgettable memories while studying in Japan.”  - Elina - Global Media and Communication Arts - Kansai Gaidai University (Japan)

“This exchange program feels like stepping into the unknown in the best possible way. The scholarship removed the biggest barrier and made this opportunity possible, allowing me to focus fully on learning, exploring, and growing. Now it’s just me, a new country, a different academic system, and a new culture to adapt to. I don’t know exactly what to expect, but that’s part of what makes it meaningful. I’m excited to challenge myself, build new connections, and grow through everything this journey will bring.” - Syed - Artificial Intelligence - Kristiania University (Norway)

“I feel excited and grateful for this exchange opportunity. As a student from Sri Lanka, I never imagined I would have the chance to study in Norway with a scholarship. It has removed the financial burden and allowed me to focus on learning. I am looking forward to experiencing a new culture, learning about European academic standards and technology, and adapting to a new environment. I believe this experience will help me grow both personally and professionally.” - Harsha - Artificial Intelligence - Kristiania University  (Norway)

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to study abroad in Australia. I will have the chance to gain many new experiences, learn about different cultures, explore new places, and try a variety of cuisines. Most importantly, I will be able to study subjects beyond my major and gain new knowledge from them. I can’t wait for this new journey to begin!” - Christabel - Global Media and Communication Arts - SP Jain School of Business (Australia)
