On May 25, 2026, Woosong University students took part in the Global Buddy Odyssey, an annual day trip to Seoul organized by the Retention Team from the Office of International Affairs. Designed to bring international and Korean students together through shared experiences, the event offered participants a full day of exploration across two of Seoul's most iconic destinations.

The day began at Gyeongbokgung Palace, where students dressed in hanbok and explored the grounds of one of Korea's most historic landmarks. From there, the group made their way to Yeouido Hangang Park, where the afternoon was filled with boat rides, bicycle rides along the river, street food, and live music performances by the Han River.

Speaking about the purpose of the event, Prof. Duke Park from the Office of International Affairs shared: "The Global Buddy Odyssey is an event where international and Korean students interact all day long. Through this event, we want to help individuals globalize and to contribute to the globalization promoted by Woosong University. I hope that Korean students will participate more actively in these events to make international student friends and share culture in the school."
