Umer Zaman (Ph.D.), Associate Professor at Woosong University(Endicott College), traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for two days of academic engagement at Al-Yamamah University.

On February 11, 2026 he delivered a guest lecture to MBA students titled "Strategic Leadership in the Global Projectized Economy: An Executive Guide to High-Stakes Decisions." The session drew strong engagement from students exploring how leaders navigate complex, high-stakes decisions in environments shaped by Saudi Arabia's ongoing mega projects and Vision 2030 agenda. The following day, he led a research seminar for faculty in the College of Business titled “Publishing Strategies in Top-Tier Journals: Plan, Write, Revise, and Publish,” where he shared practical, experience-based guidance on navigating the academic publishing process from start to finish. He is also recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2025), as ranked by Stanford University and Elsevier.

Beyond the sessions themselves, the visit opened meaningful conversations around future research collaboration between Woosong and Al-Yamamah University.
