Dear International Students,

As the semester vacation begins, many students plan to work part-time. Before you start, please make sure you have received Immigration approval.

Korean Immigration is strictly enforcing part-time employment regulations. Working without permission or outside the permitted job categories may result in serious legal consequences, including fines, visa cancellation, or deportation.

Before You Start Working
1. Secure a job offer
2. Prepare the required documents with your employer
3. Visit the Woosong Visa Office (W3, Room 105) for document review
4. Apply for permission through Korean Immigration
5. Wait for approval before starting work

You are NOT allowed to begin working until Immigration approval has been granted.

Important Reminders
1. Newly arrived students cannot work during their first semester in Korea.
2. Bachelor/Language students: Up to 20 hours/week
3. Master's/Doctoral students: Up to 30 hours/week
4. Additional working hours may be allowed depending on Korean language proficiency and academic performance.
