Course Drop Application Details

  • Application Period: April 28 (Tue) – May 8 (Fri), 2026, until 18:00 KST
  • How to Apply: https://wsinfo.wsu.ac.kr/
  • Application Process: Student online application → [In the following week] Class professor’s confirmation → Department chair approval → Office of Academic Affairs approval → Process completion.

Important Notes (Please Read Carefully)

  • Application Period: Course withdrawals are only permitted during the designated period. No applications will be accepted afterward.
  • Credit Eligibility: Only credits above the minimum required per semester (9 credits) can be withdrawn. In the final semester, students must maintain the credits required for graduation.
  • Substitution and Refund: Withdrawn credits cannot be replaced with other courses, and tuition fees already paid will not be refunded.
  • Approval Status: Students must check whether their withdrawal application is approved or rejected. If rejected, students must continue attending the class to avoid an “F” grade due to absences.
  • Impact on Scholarships and Graduation: Course withdrawal may affect both scholarship eligibility and graduation requirements. Students are advised to review all relevant information carefully to avoid potential disadvantages.
  • Processing Timeline: Course withdrawal requests must be approved by the professor and department chair, with final processing completed after review by the Office of Academic Affairs.
  • Important Reminder: Course withdrawal is not the same as course cancellation (change). It means forfeiting both the credits and tuition for the course. Please consider carefully before applying.
  • Attendance Policy: Students who have been absent for more than one-third of total class hours (including due to non-participation in required programs such as the Freshman Competency Enhancement (Sol-sup) Program) may receive an automatic “F” grade. Please check your attendance status in advance.

Note: This policy applies to all classes, including NanoPAMS and IDegree classes.
