Woosong Foundation Scholarship 2024 첨부파일

The Woosong Scholarship Association is announcing the selection of the Woosong Foundation Scholarship for 2024. Interested students are requested to apply online within the specified period.

1. Eligibility (Applicants must meet the following basic qualifications and one or more additional qualifications):
  • Basic Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled students (Year 1 to Year 4)
    • Those who have earned 15 or more credits in the previous semester with no F grades
※ For first-year students, applicants who have registered for 15 or more credits

  • Additional Qualifications (Applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria):
    • Outstanding academic performance (those with a cumulative GPA of 4.00 or higher)
    • Recognition in extracurricular academic activities (within the top 3 in international or nationwide competitions)
    • Excellent foreign language proficiency (TOEIC, TOEFL, HSK, JPT, JLPT, etc.)
      • TOEIC: 850 or higher
      • TOEFL: 85 or higher
      • HSK: Level 5 or higher
      • JPT: 750 or higher
      • JLPT: Level 1
    • Global Leaders (separately selected) Foreign Students should ONLY select this at the additional qualification section.

2. Selection Details
  • Number of Students: 0
  • Scholarship Benefits: Support for global overseas and domestic training (refer to the homepage)

3. Submission Method
  • Online Submission Documents
    • WSU Scholarship Student Application Form, Self-Introduction Letter, Essay (see attached document)
    • Academic Transcript
    • Proof of extracurricular academic activities (competition guidelines, certificate copies)
    •  Proof of foreign language proficiency (copy of official language test scores) *Valid after March 28, 2022
  • Online Submission Method
    •      [Email] wsscholarship@wsu.ac.kr
    •      [Email Subject] 우송장학생 신청서 제출 (Student ID Number / Name)
    •      [Method] Application Form → Typed and attached as a Word Doc file / Supporting Documents → Scan in color and attach

Submission Deadline: From 2024. 3. 28 (Thu) to 4. 11 (Thu) until 16:00

4. Selection Schedule and Inquiries
  • Selection Schedule
    • 1st Round Document Review → (Notification to 1st round passers separately) ⟶ 2nd Round Interview and Q&A
※ Depending on the situation, a presentation on a given topic may be added during the 2nd round interview (topic will be announced separately)
