This announcement provides an overview of the short intercession semesters (Winter & Summer semesters) offered during the vacations.
2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 International Students
- From 2019 onwards, students complete 132 credits over the course of eight main (Spring and Fall) semesters.
- One intersession semester will be offered, and this will be 'Sol AIEP Intensive English' (3 General Required Credits) in the Summer Semester of the freshman year.
- Other than this, intercession semesters are not part of the learning model developed and offered by academic departments.
- Students are not prevented from registering for intersession courses offered for 2016, 2017 and 2018 students, but it is unlikely these courses will be relevant for graduation and will not help students graduate early.
2016, 2017 and 2018 International Students
- Students who began in 2016, 2017 and 2018 complete 142 credits in total.
- Intercession semesters are offered in addition to main semesters to assist students to complete required credits on time.
- Students with a high GPA (over 4.25), who completed all credits and other graduation requirements in seven main semesters and six intercession semesters, were eligible to graduate after three and a half years.
- As most 2016 to 2018 students have graduated, very few intercession semesters are now offered, catering to students returning from military service and maternity leave.
