Woosong Adventure: Outrun! Outsmart! Outlast! 첨부파일

On Thursday, April 10th, Woosong University held its very first Woosong Adventure Games, an exciting event inspired by the popular shows Running Man and Squid Game. Around 200 international students from across all schools and departments teamed up in groups of five, forming a total of 40 teams, to take on a series of fun and competitive challenges prepared by the Woosong Retention Team.



The event began with a lively atmosphere as Woosong’s student band set the tone with a live performance, while contestants enjoyed snacks and drinks as they waited for the games to begin. In addition to the physical games, teams had the chance to show off their creativity in a T-shirt design contest, with a special prize reserved for the best design.



The event officially began with a warm welcome and encouraging speech from Dean Spencer Shim, who wished all participants the best of luck.



The competition consisted of four main games:
- Red Light, Green Light
- 6-Legged Pentathlon
- Bucket Toss Challenge
- Woosong Quiz



While the games may have sounded simple, they challenged students both physically and mentally.  Drawing from iconic scenes in Squid Game, participants got to experience a taste of Korean culture in a fun and safe environment, no "bad parts" included! 



After the active rounds, participants tested their knowledge in a quiz on Korean culture and daily life in Korea. The event concluded with a closing ceremony hosted by Dr. Rezia Usman and a speech from Woosong University President Oh Deok-seong.



During the award ceremony, the winning teams were announced:
Three teams received 3rd place, each winning a ₩100,000 coupon




Two teams were awarded 2nd place, with ₩200,000 coupons




The 1st place team received a ₩300,000 coupon



Winners can redeem their coupons at Sol-Park, our on-campus eatery known for its delicious baked goods and the best burgers in town.
Additional prizes were given for special categories:
The “Best T-Shirt Design” award went to a standout team with a creative design.



A special appreciation prize was presented to Ms. Dana, a valued member of the organizing team.
