Special Lecture from Fair Trade Network

On March 27th, students of the Culinary Arts program attended a special guest lecture from the Asia Fairtrade Network, presented by Kangbaek Lee.
During the session, students learned about the fascinating journey of Fair Trade coffee—from the field to the cup. Mr. Lee spoke about ethical sourcing, the story of Tarrazú coffee, and the rules and values that shape the Fairtrade network.
They gained insight into how Fair Trade practices help farmers not only grow premium beans but also build a more sustainable and equitable future.
