An Exploration of Global Entrepreneurship with Dr. Amir Reza

Last week, Woosong University welcomed Dr. Amir Reza, Dean of Babson College, for a lecture on Global Mindset. Mwe, a 4th year student in the Young Founders Program, shared her thoughts on the experience:
"On March 26th, I attended Dr. Amir Reza's lecture on Global Mindset at Woosong University, alongside 112 fellow students from Endicott College and the Young Founders Program, a special collaboration between Babson College, SolBridge International School of Business, and Woosong University. As Dean of Babson College, Dr. Reza offered a unique perspective on global citizenship that immediately resonated with me.
His session stood out for its practicality. He explained how our environments and cultures shape our biases, challenging us to reflect on how our backgrounds influence our perceptions of others. These insights weren’t just theoretical, they had direct applications in entrepreneurship and global citizenship. What made his approach compelling was its interactivity: case studies spanning from the U.S. to the Middle East, discussions on cultural biases, and moments where he pushed us to articulate and defend our viewpoints. It was engaging without feeling performative.
By the end, the discussion didn’t just stop when the lecture ended. Many of us, myself included, stayed behind to continue exchanging thoughts with Dr. Reza. Some students even lined up to take photos with him, a clear sign of how much his insights resonated with us."
