Staricco partners with Local Farmers & Fair Trade Coffee

Staricco is a campus cafe located in W12, which also serves as a practical training space for students in the Global Culinary Arts and Restaurant & Entrepreneurship programs. Here, students gain hands-on experience managing both the culinary and business aspects of a restaurant, handling everything from menu planning and inventory management to financial operations and customer service—all under student supervision.

This semester, Staricco Blossom, offers a diverse menu featuring brunch sets, a variety of drinks, dinner options, fresh bakery and desserts.

A key highlight of this season’s Staricco is its commitment to revitalizing the local economy and promoting truly healthy, organic products. To achieve this, they collaborate with local farmers and use Han Salim ingredients. Additionally they use Fair Trade Coffee which ensures ethical trade practices between producers and consumers. It is primarily centered on coffee produced by small farmers in developing countries, with a focus on reducing exploitation by middlemen and creating a sustainable agricultural environment so that they can get a fair price.
