Woosong University 2020 Fall Semester Course Operation Basic Guideline

1. Course Operation Basic Principle

General Education: Real-time online face-to-face classes or classroom/on-site face-to-face classes in principle.

However, classes in foreign languages (English, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) and physical education (Swimming, golf, horseback riding, etc.) can be held at least one hour in the classroom based on three credits and three hours standard.

Major: Based on the three credits/time-to-time course, one hour or more is required to conduct face-to-face classes in the classroom.

2. Attendance Basic Principle

-Face-to-Face Course Attendance 

In principle, face-to-face (on-site) attendance is required on the day of face-to-face classes for each subject designated by the department, and absent if he/she does not attend face-to-face (on-site) classes. (In cases of confirmed COVID19 infection or designated as self-quarantined person by national health authorities then relevant documents shall be verified in accordance with attendance regulations for excused absences)

-Live-Online Face-to-Face Course Attendance

Students must go online with their real names and make sure they can see themselves on the online screen (if they are not logged real names or faces cannot be seen on the screen, they will be treated as absent).

* Regarding classrooms for each subject for face-to-face class dates and real-time online face-to-face classes, please contact the corresponding departments for more information after course registration period.

* Fall Semester Course Operations guidelines listed above may be adjusted according to the government’s policy on social distancing-levels (Step 1,2,3) with regards to COVID19 situation.
