The Woosong University Korean Language Institute would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Korean Speaking Contest. This event is designed to help international students improve their Korean speaking skills, prepare for the TOPIK Speaking Test, and enjoy their life in Korea more confidently.

Date & Venue

• Final Round: Thursday, May 29, 2025 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Location: W1 Basement Auditorium

How to Participate

• Format: Individual or group role-play

• Topics:

  1. My Family

  2. My Favorite Idol, Drama, Movie, or Webtoon

  3. Why I Love Korea

• Speaking Time: 3 minutes per person / 6–10 minutes for group (time limit strictly enforced)

Eligibility

• Open to: All international students currently enrolled at Woosong (including language trainees)

• Not eligible:
  ∙ Those married to a Korean citizen for over 5 years
  ∙ Fluent ethnic Koreans (Joseonjok)

How to Apply

• Application Period: May 13 (Tue) – May 16 (Fri), 2025

• Required Document: Application Form (available at the Korean Language Institute)

• Guidance: Participants will receive coaching from invited professors
