Daejeon City, in collaboration with various municipal institutions, is recruiting international students to work in the city administration. This internship program will provide you with valuable hands-on experience and a chance to contribute to government activities.

Internship Details

Duration: 2023.07.03 (Mon) to 2023.08.18 (Fri) / 35 days of actual work (7 weeks) (separate days off - 7 days, personal leave - 1 day)

Job Contents: Foreign language translation and data collection, assistance in foreign language-related tasks, etc.

Working Hours: 5 days a week, from 09:00 to 18:00 (8 hours, excluding a 1-hour lunch break)

※ Working conditions and hours may vary depending on the organization and assigned tasks

Salary: 86,400 KRW per day / 3,628,800 KRW for full attendance (including days off, etc., for 42 days)

Requirements:

- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: English, Russian, Chinese, or Vietnamese.
- Proficiency in Korean.
- No disqualifications from Daejeon Immigration Office for issuing time-limited work permits.
- Valid stay (Residence Card) in Korea until 2023.08.31.

Selection Process:
- Document screening and phone interviews: 2023.06.01 (Thu) to 2023.06.02 (Fri) (scheduled)
- Final selection notification: 2023.07.07 (Wed) (scheduled)
Please note that the university's recommendation ranking will be considered during the selection process.
In case the 1st recommended individual fails the screening, the next recommended individual will be selected.
