The Summer 2023 Semester Internship Application Period has been announced. Please read the information below carefully.
Application Procedure
Application Period: 2023.05.29 (Mon) ~ 2023.06.05 (Mon) 17:00 KST
Internship Period: 2023.06.19 (Mon) ~ 2023.07.21 (Fri)
Eligibility: Year 3 and Y4 students who have completed Y1 & Y2 successfully
Application Method: Submit Documents (found below) to the Internships Administrator
Take note of the following guidelines for application:
- Submission documents: Refer to the documents listed below. After the deadline, applications cannot be accepted.
- Final Internship Report Submission Date: Before end of Summer 2023 Semester. For overseas internships, a certificate of entry and exit must be attached to the internship report.
- Internship should start in the first week of the Summer 2023 Semester, or the internship will be cancelled.
- Internships for the Summer 2023 Semester should be 4 weeks (120 hours) or more in length.
- Internship will be for a maximum of 40 hours per week, and shall not be conducted at night (after 18:00) or on public holidays.
- The internship can be a maximum of 4 credits for 2016-2018 students, and 3 credits for 2019 students onwards.
- It is not possible to change the internship once it has begun. In the event of necessity (e.g., change of the name of the company, bankruptcy of the company, etc.), authorisation needs to be granted. Contact the internship administrator for more information.
- For international students conducting an internship in Korea, a work permit must be attached in accordance with the relevant laws. International students may only conduct an internship in Korea during the short (Summer and Winter) semesters. Contact Korean Immigration Service for more information or see the attached rules in Korean language.
- The internship-advising professors will inspect and check-up with students.

1. Internship Application Form & Cover Letter (write the internship duration as the exact dates in the application form, not the working hours, for example June.19, 2023. ~ July.21, 2023) (지원신청서)
2. Agreement for Use of Personal Information (개인정보 수집제공 이용 동의서)
3. Acceptance Notification Form (수락 통지서)
4. Insurance Application Form (보험가입동의서)
5. MOU Written Agreement (협약서)
Note: Written Agreement MOU (example attached) is only needed if you are finding an internship company on your own. If so, please contact the internship administrator, or come to W19 Room 218, so we can discuss the process further. If you are working with your department to find an internship company, we will already have the MOU.
