Internship Application Period (Spring 2023)

The Spring 2023 Semester Internship Application Period has started. Please read the information below carefully.
Internship Application Procedure
Application Deadline: by 2023.02.28 (Tue) 17:00 KST 2023.02.24 (Fri) 17:00 KST - we apologise for the change in application period, but if you are affected there will still be an opportunity to apply for courses instead on 2023.02.27 and 2023.02.28
Internship Duration: 2023.03.02 (Thu) ~ 2023.06.16 (Fri)
Eligibility: Year 3 and Y4 students who have completed Y1 & Y2 successfully
Application Method: Submit Documents to the Internships Administrator
Take note of the following guidelines for application:
- Submission documents: Refer to the attached documents (listed below). After the deadline, applications cannot be accepted.
- Final Internship Report Submission Date: Before end of Spring 2023 Semester. For overseas internships, a certificate of entry and exit must be attached to the internship report.
- Internship should start by the fourth week of the Spring 2023 Semester, or the internship will be cancelled.
- Internships for the Spring 2023 Semester should be 12 weeks (120 hours) or more in length.
- Internship will be for a maximum of 40 hours per week, and shall not be conducted at night (after 18:00) or on public holidays.
- An internship of at least 12 weeks, or at least 480 hours, will be 16 credits. An internship of at least 15 weeks, or at least 600 hours, will be 18 credits. It is recommended all international students should do the internship for 18 credits.
- It is not possible to change the internship once it has begun. In the event of necessity (e.g., change of the name of the company, bankruptcy of the company, etc.), authorisation needs to be granted. Contact the internship administrator for more information.
- For international students, when conducting an internship in Korea, a work permit must be attached in accordance with the relevant laws. Contact Korean Immigration Service for more information.
- The internship-advising professors will inspect and check-up with students.

1. Internship Application Form & Cover Letter (write the internship duration 2023.03.02 (Thur) ~ 2023.06.16 (Fri) in the application form, not the working hours) (지원신청서)
2. Agreement for Use of Personal Information (개인정보 수집제공 이용 동의서)
3. Acceptance Notification Form (수락 통지서)
4. Insurance Application Form (보험가입동의서)
5. MOU Written Agreement (협약서)
Note: Written Agreement MOU (example attached) is only needed if you are finding an internship company on your own. If so, please contact the internship administrator, or come to W19 Room 218, so we can discuss the process further. If you are working with your department to find an internship company, we will already have the MOU.
