Writer : IAC | Date : 2022.12.14 | Hit : 1,990

**This announcement is for ECIS students who recently applied for Track Minor/Minor for 2023 only.**

Endicott College of International Studies (ECIS) management is pleased to announce the launch of a new Track Minor, entitled LINC 3.0 Academic Industry Track Minor.

The LINC 3.0 Academic Industry Track Minor, of 18 credits, will be taught by former employees of Korea's biggest firms, including LG, KT, Samsung, and Ssangyong Motors and other industry experts. Inside information on employment and internship opportunities in Korea's biggest multinational corporation will be provided. More information about LINC 3.0 can be found here. The Track Minor will encompass the following topics:
- Global Management Theory
- Task Management Theory
- Business Reporting
- Cross Cultural Management
- Creative Problem Solving Skills
- Smart Social Networking Skills

At this stage, ECIS is seeking interest from students about registering for this new Track Minor instead of the Track Minor/Minor they recently applied for. There are two important things to note:
- The Track Minor will only proceed if there is enough interest from students (a minimum of 20 students).
- The courses will be taught in a mix of English and Korean language, so students should feel confident in their Korean-language ability.

Expression-of-Interest Procedure
Track Minor Expression-of-Interest Period: by 2022.12.21 (Wed) 17:00 KST.
Track Minor Expression-of-Interest Method: Expression-of-Interest Form

Take careful note of the following important information:
- Track minor/minor are not 'extra credits', they count towards the credits a student is able to take each semester and the credits needed for graduation
- If a student changes their mind about track minor/minor, credits will not be carried over to the new minor (unless the track minor/minor is discontinued).
- Regardless of what track minor/minor is chosen, some departments require interview or prerequisite requirements so an application may not be accepted.
- The earlier a student applies, the more time there will be to resolve any issues resulting from unsuccessful application, so apply early.
- Transfer Students and students only in Korea for one semester on Exchange/Study Abroad/Visiting do not need to apply.
- For any advice on how to select track minor/minor or the content of the track minor/minor, speak to the relevant academic advisor or department chair.
