Woosong University has proudly made its first-ever appearance in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2025, placing in the 501–600 band overall. This significant milestone reflects the university's growing global reputation and commitment to excellence in higher education.
Among the most notable achievements is Woosong’s ranking as #1 in South Korea and #36 in Asia for International Outlook. This category evaluates the proportion of international students and faculty as well as cross-border academic collaboration, underscoring Woosong’s dedication to global engagement and diversity.
The THE Asia University Rankings assess universities based on five core pillars: Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook, and Industry Income. Woosong’s inclusion highlights the university’s steady progress and recognition among Asia’s leading institutions.
