Woosong Welcome Fall 2024 Students

Over the past week, we welcomed our Fall 2024 cohort of 200-300 students from over 50 countries, representing diverse backgrounds, including both freshmen and exchange students. Orientation Week was to help students settle into Woosong, their new home for the coming months/ years, introduce them to life in Daejeon, and make friends. The orientation lasted for 5 days, filled with a mix of icebreakers, tours, and performances.

The students were engaging, dynamic, ambitious, and full of enthusiasm! Around 150 students joined us on campus for the activities. They also had the opportunity to experience a trip to Jeonju Hanok Village, where they explored quaint cafes, made perfumes, and enjoyed traditional Korean food. Additionally, students were given guided tours of the campus to ensure they were familiar with their surroundings for the upcoming semester. The week wrapped up with a concert featuring performances from the AIEP Clubs, Professors' performances, and a pledge ceremony to officially welcome students to the Endicott community.
