Woosong University has partnered with ALMA in Italy to offer our Culinary Arts and Restaurant Entrepreneurship majors a unique opportunity to study abroad.
Through this collaboration, students are immersed in the heart of Italian gastronomy, beginning with an intensive two-week training program led by some of Italy’s top chefs at ALMA. Here, they gain hands-on experience in mastering authentic Italian cuisine, and learning traditional techniques and contemporary culinary innovations.
Following the training, students embark on a five-week internship at renowned restaurants throughout Italy, where they can apply their culinary skills in real-world environments. This experience enhances their practical knowledge of European kitchen operations and offers a deep cultural understanding of Italian food and hospitality. By the end of the program, students return with valuable international experience, refined culinary skills, and a global perspective on restaurant entrepreneurship, preparing them to excel in the competitive hospitality industry.
